Today, on October 2, Balvi (Latvia) hosts the opening ceremony of the park “Bear Garden”, improved within the framework of LV-RU-040 project “New life of old parks”.
Improvement of “Bear Garden” started in September 2019 and lasted till July 2020. The total area of works was about 4 hectares. The customer of the works was Balvi municipality, the executor – ASKO AS.
The works included for relief leveling, grass cover restoration, path network renewal, installation of visitor counters, cleaning and landscaping of the park pond, restoration of the bridge over the pond.
The guests of the event will enjoy an extensive cultural program – light installations, fire show, creative performances, exhibition of Latvian ceramics and much more.
