STIRNIENE MANOR

The estate was managed by the Lappo family. When the landlord died, the management continued to “madame” Lappo. With the beginning of the land reform, the land of the estate was divided into farmers, formed in three new districts. Lappo left her few possessions and moved to another place. The estate in its management adopted the Stirniene parish administration, arranging apartments and working rooms.

The estate’s Park was created in 1790, with an area of 5.6 hectares. An entrance road with a large gate that is included in a group of trees. To the southwest of the estate is a long perspective with exotic scenes. In the northeast, an array of small trees and a small pond. Saplings are based on the main types of woody trees.
