The New Castle of Sigulda built in 1878 in the Neo-Gothic style as the living house for the owners of the manor, the Kropotkin family. The building has changed its owners and functions several times. Since 1993, the Sigulda Region Council has been located in the castle.
The Park area is 2.5 ha. The Park is built on the upper edge of the Gauja valley. The best preserved former suburban area with a symmetrical layout and a stone fence around the perimeter. An interesting point of view is located at the end of the castle, where on the edge of the cliff from the balustrade offers a distant view of the ancient valley of Gauja and the castle of Krimulda.
