JERCENI MANOR

The complex and Park of the Jerceni estate was formed at the turn of the 19-20 th century.

The complex consists of a house “young ladies”, a barn and a stable. The interior of the house (potted fireplace, four pot stoves, wooden ceiling, doors, stairs) has been restored and preserved in its original form.

The area of the Park is 16.3 ha, of which 0.2 ha is occupied by a pond. There are several parallel, previously cut trees in the East of the former house of the Lord, the alley and the Northern part of the picturesque valley with accents of exotic coniferous trees. The Park has native and foreign species of trees and shrubs. The complex of the estate is surrounded by the nature reserve – Jaunjerceni Park on an area of 4.2 hectares. On the territory of the Park there are trees of different types, less common plants (roosting and ferns, etc.), a pond that flows into the cold water of the spring, a unique oak alley, Linden multi-axis sails.
